Asia Street Eats Ltd. is an online travel agency connecting international travellers with independently run food tours across Asia. We are based in Central, Hong Kong S.A.R., and act as an intermediary between travellers and local vendors while operating select in-house tours. We collect information you give us directly: names, nationality, email, phone, booking details, travel dates, dietary restrictions and special requests. Payment details are processed only via third-party processors (Stripe, Square, Wix Payments) — we never store card data directly. We automatically collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, operating system and pages viewed. We may also receive information from payment processors, affiliate partners and local vendors.
We use your information to process bookings, arrange payment, provide customer service and communicate schedules; to analyse website usage and improve our service; and to send promotional updates where you have consented. We never sell or rent your data, and share it only when necessary to provide our services or meet legal requirements.
We process data on the basis of contractual necessity (to fulfil bookings), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, platform improvement and security), legal compliance (accounting and tax), and your explicit consent for optional marketing or non-essential cookies.
We share limited data with local vendors (to fulfil your booking) and technical providers (Wix, Stripe, Square, Google Analytics, email and cloud services) under confidentiality. We keep booking and payment records for six years (for tax and legal reasons), inquiries and correspondence for three years, and analytics for shorter periods. Data is securely deleted or anonymised when no longer needed; longer retention may apply during disputes.
You may access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or request portable copies of your data, and withdraw marketing consent. Requests require proof of identity and enough detail to locate the record. We respond within legal timeframes and may decline excessive, repetitive or unlawful requests.
Essential cookies cannot be disabled. Analytics and advertising cookies require your consent, managed via your browser or our consent banner. Third-party tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Wix) collect aggregated data under their own policies. Disabling cookies may affect performance.
